When I tried to run the code out of the box (Pressing the green triangle in VS), I receive the following error:
Could not load file or assembly 'INuiInstanceHelper, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.
After searching google a little, I found the problem (see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6655555/inconsistent-issues-with-loading-inuiinstancehelper-in-kinect-sdk). The build setting was set to "Any CPU". I was able to change the build setting to "x86" and it ran perfectly! Kinect SDK only comes in x86 version; therefore, the build settings should get changed.
